Allie Davis, DO

Dr. Allie Davis is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She earned her medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing her psychiatry residency at Michigan State University. During residency, she served as Chief Resident for the General Adult Psychiatry Program and pursued additional training in geriatric mental health. She was designated as an Honor’s Scholar by the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.

Deeply passionate about medical education, Dr. Davis played a foundational role as core clinical faculty for the first psychiatry residency program established in the state of Montana. She helped pioneer a large-scale telepsychiatry program serving patients across hundreds of miles, including highly rural communities throughout Montana and Wyoming.

She brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to care—coming alongside each patient as a team and drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to support them on their path toward healing and finding hope. She considers it a profound privilege to walk with individuals through the profound hardships of their mental-health journey and taking great care to see them as a whole person, that they are more than their struggle and diagnosis.

Her clinical interests include geriatric psychiatry, cancer and palliative-care–related mental health, women’s mental health (including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and menopause-related concerns), grief, and trauma-related disorders. She provides comprehensive psychiatric medication management that is tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Dr. Davis also holds a special interest in how a person’s mental health and faith journey intersect, thoughtfully recognizing and honoring the spiritual dimensions that provide grounding, strength, clarity and hope. When welcomed, she thoughtfully incorporates faith-informed perspectives into the therapeutic process to promote meaningful holistic healing.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Davis values time spent with family and friends, with a special fondness for moments shared with her husband and daughter. An avid animal lover, she is accompanied at home by two dogs. Her personal interests include exploring Montana’s outdoors, attending Canvas Church, reading, traveling, and enjoying music.
